![]() ![]() The kids were quite fond of the (more western) panini style sandwiches and pasta selection (though the sauces lacked in appeal there). We generally try to eat as local as possible and found the food quite authentic (though nowhere near street food taste which I still prefer in Vietnam), and spicy enough once we asked them to season extra. First meals were fine as well, as the kitchen made an effort to cater for different tastes. We did not try the extensive watersports offer but there seemed to be plenty of activities on offer. The pool was great, with plenty of seating area and a relaxed bar and food service on the side. The villa itself had a large living area, with comfortable seats (an outside jacuzzi which we only tested as we're not really the jacuzzi type people), two large bedrooms with a double bed (and decent klamboos) and a bathroom which was not really well designed to handle 4 people at once (but we managed just fine). Our family was super enthusiastic when they first showed us the spacious family villa (nr 2, Custard Apple) and energy levels rose even more when our kids discovered the large pool (with a short waterfall platform allowing for all kinds of antics). Thank you team of Full Moon village and Ibrahim, the manager, for your kind hospitality! All in all from our experience, it was the perfect place to chill out and enjoy a few days break. ![]() ![]() Also a recent hurricane brought quite a lot of rubbish to the shores but the local people and the hotels are making good efforts to clear the debris. Dinner was also good and we enjoyed the Malbec! The only slight downside is that the waves at the sea are very strong, so it's not really a place to swim in the ocean but the hotel offers all sorts of free water sports equipment. Happy hour was brilliant offering two for one deals from 4-7!! We loved the mojitos and gin tonics. The restaurant faces the ocean and breakfast was varied and nice. The hotel swimming pool was perfect for me as it also is really big and great for doing some proper energetic loops. There is a little garden around each villa with a private jacuzzi. We wanted to chill out and have some peace and quiet and for this Full Moon Village was the perfect place! Our villa was huge with a large living room and kitchen, we then had two bedrooms (the 2 bedroom Villa) with two lovely large double beds and private bathrooms. ![]()
